Lay out all your molding pieces and organize them from largest to smallest. This makes it easier to grab the right piece as you go. Some kits will include helpful stickers on each molding piece to help organize.

Use the tape measure to double-check the Length of your wall. Write down the length somewhere. Now input that length into the calculator below to get your panel spacing, then come back to this step...

Use the pencil to mark where each panel will go. Use the spacing from previous step to help mark out your wall.

You'll make two small vertical marks for each panel—these marks represent the left and right edges of the panels.

Lay your molding on the floor in front of the wall in the same order and layout you plan to install. This quick preview helps catch any mistakes before adhesive is applied.

• Gently squeeze a small bead of adhesive onto the back of each molding piece. (You don’t need much so don’t overdo this part, you’ll make a mess!)
  
• Firmly press the molding onto the wall within your marked lines. You can adjust it as it dries, so don’t worry if it’s not perfect right away!
  
• Hold each piece for 15–30 seconds to let the adhesive grip.

Once you’ve finished gluing your first panel (top and bottom rectangles), make sure everything is lined up and straight with the level before starting the next panel.

The adhesive allows slight movement and adjustment. You can adjust as you go, it is forgiving. Focus on getting it generally in the right place, then fine tune after each panel is up.

Use painter’s tape to temporarily hold the molding in place while it sets.
Let it cure for at least 24 hours before removing the tape.

Once your molding adhesive is dry (wait at least 4 hours) apply caulking to the joints, cracks, and any imperfections. Use your finger or a caulking tool to help spread out evenly.

The paint will help bring your wall to life, we highly recommend this step. It also hides any slight imperfections and seems.
